Well it has been 2 days after Christmas. And everyone in skid row still looks the same. Drunk and stupid. I don't see the tv cameras in Downtown Los angeles skid row area anymore. Let me give you guys the truth. You have to have a place to dump the poor and 'down and out'. In Burbank, or Glendale, those cities do not want the poor or homeless there. Or Beverly Hills. Do you know what the biggest hypocrisy is? In Santa Monica here in California, someone wanted to open up a mission for the homeless. The citizens of Santa Monice would not hear of it. They petitioned the city Council to trash the permit to approve it. The permit was denied. Yet on Christmas day, they say "Oh those poor people". Malarchy at its best. They don't want a homeless shelter in their area, yet they have the balls to say "Well let's give to the homeless in Downtown Los Angeles". This is the reason I am not impressed with all of the 'giving' that goes on during the Christmas season. by. Well now that is Christmas is over the Hell with the poor. There was a Los Angeles Catholic priest handing out money to the poor in increments of 1,2, 5, 100 dollars. Sounds like a good cause right. Well where do you think the dope man was yesterday. He was where? Right around the block saying "Here is some dope" what good did that do? None (if you count getting high and plastered) a good thing. You see the people here in Downtown Los Angeles doing the most good are the Christian groups. Places like the Los Angeles mission and the Union rescue Mission (both are located in Downtown Los Angeles). There are some churches down here responblily. Anyway, so remember the poor year round not just once a year, or out of a guilt trip. Hello all. Last night a dude was screaming at the top of his lungs, because he was drunk as a skunk. At about 12am. Also, new news, the fire marshal could arrive on Monday the 24th. I don't know if he will but that is what I have been told. That might put a lump in some of the tenants pockets. You know as I said before isn't it amazing that the fire marshal happens to be showing up a few months before the building will be given over to SRO. Hello all. Well it rained and it poured here in Downtown Los Angeles. I told you all about the downtown L.A. lofts that are not selling. They are offering cars and cash and other incentives to sell them. Do you want to live in a 'glorified' studio. That is all a loft is. I came pulling up in my brother's car last night. Everyone thought I was a cop. It is a cop-like vehicle my brother drives. The groud was real dirty for the past few days. All you see is brown dirt going into the sewer in the Downtown Los Angeles area. My brother has not heard of the crackdown the Los Angeles Police Department has been doing in the area. He was driving and said to me "Man where are all of the tents and homeless". I told him of the clean-up going on down there in Downtown Los Angeles. Mini-coops they call them. You see I told you they would not sell. I hope none of them sell. When you mess with the poor look what you get. SCREWED!. I am so happy they are not selling. Hello all. Well check this out. The fire marshal shows up next week. My room last night, I knocked it out. It is almost clean. I just have some finishing touches on it to go through. Well I got blessed last night with some money. That helps. I will tell you something God is really stretching my faith this time of year. I cash this guys checks for him. He is 90 years old, and in a wheelchair. He can barely move. I seem to be the only honest person in the hotel. He trusts me. I will not screw him over, because of what the bible says about that. Hello all. Well check this out still no word on when the building will be taken over by SRO. You know if I did not know better my neighborhood is just as expensive as Beverly Hills. Why do I say that? Well when I go to the store, they all charge high prices for everything. The other day, I went to the neighborhood Los Angeles market, and they charged 2.50 dollars for a very tiny burrito. And rudeness, the people who work there are rude, and snotty. They look down on everyone when you go into their store. They also talk down to everyone in the store. The only place they don't talk down to you is the local post office. That is about it. There are some perks to this neighborhood. The homeless can shower and put their stuff into a clean garbage can in a Downtown Los Angeles-Skid row place run by the City of Los Angeles. So they can leave their clothes and stuff in these clean trash cans, and not walk around and look homeless. Then even look for work. That is a good thing. 100% free. Cool huh! Today was an interesting day in Downtown Los Angeles. You see anytime these movie companies are filming, they stop a few blocks. No problem. But at least put up signs to tell people which corner to go to catch the bus. This is the stuff they don't tell you about when it comes to Downtown L.A. news. I wish the media would air something on that. I hear they want to change Broadway into lofts. What else is new. These ones won't sell either. Most of the lofts in Downtown Los Angeles are not selling, why? Because of heavy taxation, and besides that who can afford a 400,ooo dollar loft in today's economy if you are making 40-50,000 dollars a year. Can you? I doubt it. Hello all. Alot to tell you about today. One dude who I helped pay his rent is actually starting help pay me back. That is awesome. Also, the Los Angeles Police department was out in force last night. They were all over the place. You see yesterday it rained real heavy in Downtown Los Angeles for most of the day. But check this out, today in Downtown Los Angeles it is clear. And the streets are filthy. They really are. I mean while it was raining you see the brown dirt literally just being swept down the streets of Skid row. Also, you could see how much trash, the people litter down there. The gutters are full of trash right now. The ground is still really dirty. You know it is one thing to live on the street, it is quite another, to see how the homeless treat the Downtown Los Angeles area. Anyway, fortunately the street sweepers of Los Angeles will clean up the area. Also, something else annoyed me this morning. I went to use the bathroom at the Ford hotel in Downtown Los Angeles and there was a big amount of 'you know what on the toilet seat'. Have people no shame.
