Downtown Los angeles intro to the truth

Hello all. Well SRO has taken over the building. However, they seem to be nice people. They 'claim' that we will get our relocation money sometime now in November. Not sure. However, it is interesting that they are moving the people from the 5th and 6th floor to the 2nd and 3rd floor in our building. Why you ask? To start work on the building. They are starting with the 5th and 6th floors. Sounds to me like they won't be giving any relocation money away. If they don't ask you to move then why would they pay you relocation money? If you have input into this please email me at www.LATravelYTB.com and www.microsoft.com and www.americancongressfortruth.com and www.frcaction.org by

Hello all. Well SRO has taken over the building. I don't like them. They look stuffy. However, the people they hire look like they just got out of the prison system. They have tattoos and look like criminals. Anyway, in a couple of weeks they will be having a pizza party telling us what is going on. My friend said that we would get our rent lowered. Not sure. Will have to wait and see. Anyway by Happy Sunday. www.LATRAVelYTB.com and www.citizenlink.org and www.frcaction.org and www.americancongressfortruth.com

Downtown Los Angeles intro to the truth 2-20

Hello all. I just found out yesterday this is how the relocation money works for the City of Los Angeles. Right now in the City of Los Angeles if they ask you to relocate or 'move' you are entitled to 6810 dollars, but on July 1st 2008 the 6810 dollars will change. How? If the law is not extended, a new law on July 1st, says those who are relocated will receive 9040 dollars. I will be honest with you. I wanna move in September so I can get 9040 dollars. Oh by the way if the old law is extended after 3 years in the same residence I still am eligible to receive 9040 dollars and not 6810 dollars. Cool huh. First they say the management in our building is staying now they say they are leaving. Now once again I am hearing we will get relocation money in the next few months. Don't know. This is a soap opera "These are the days of the Ford Holel in Downtown Los Angeles". I am done. I will wait and see what happens. I am hearing all kinds of stories. I wonder if the building owners are responsible for this to bring confusion to us. Why? They figure maybe we will move. Don't know just a theory. Downtown Los Angeles Intro to the truth 2-13

Hello all. Well check this out. Our landlady is leaving Friday SRO will probaly be bringing in their own management company. The plan is too after all of the other buildings are finished with construction to go after the Ford Hotel. I don't even know if they want us to relocate any more. Here is why. The SRO is saying that maybe they might let everyone stay. The reason is expensive. If they give us relocation money. Then they have to give out over 9000 dollars per person. There are 300 people in our building do the math. They obviously want to evict people. So then they do not have to pay them. I don't know. I hoped I would get the relocation money but who knows when that will happen. Downtown Los Angeles Intro to the truth 2-12

Let's talk about Millie. Millie is the manager of our hotel in Downtown Los Angeles. However she is also a serious gambler. She has a huge problem with gambling. She always has those scratchers. She buys those things by the ton. She probaly spends about 20 dollars a day gambling, now some of you are saying "so what" she has 2 kids to feed and lives in an apartment. She doesn't make that much money. Do you know how many peoplebuy lottery tickets in our area. Alot. I mean alot. You see people trying to win it big. With scratchers that are ridged not to let you win. Downtown Los Angeles Intro to the truth 2-9

Hello all. Well what is new in Downtown Los Angeles. Not much same old. Now today let's talk about a subject no one wants to talk about. What is it? The homeless in Downtown Los Angeles, you might try to shuffle them around. But they still come back. So what is the deal. Well some of them always hang out around the Los Angeles Mission or the Union rescue or the Fred Jordan Mission. Most of them hang out there waiting for them to open to take a shower or get something to eat. It isn't a few of them. It is alot of people. In the 1000's. Imagine that being you. Could you handle it? Everyday, people pass by you and look at you and ignore you. On top of that. You are just a number to the County of Los Angeles and possibly the missions themselves. No one cares for you at all. The homeless treat each other like garbage. They beat each other up for small things like cutting in line. I sometimes outside my window hear people screaming uncontrollably at each other for no apparent reason. Could you handle it? Different people could, but could you? email me at www.LATravelYTB.com and www.adamhawke000@yahoo.com and www.frc.org and www.citizenlink.org and www.americancongressfortruth.com by

Downtown Los Angeles Intro to the truth 2-8

Hello all. A new perpective today on Downtown Los Angeles you have one side that looks like a habitable area. And on the other side of town. It looks like a dump. Why doesn't the City of Los Angeles take better care of the area in Skid row. Why? They do not care. Our streets are dirty. After it rains you see the brown dirt just coming from the ground. Also what happened to the bathrooms. They used to have bathrooms, now their is no sign of a bathroom anyway. Good Luck in asking a business owner if they have a bathroom They will say NO. So as a result people have to pee on the sidewalk. They need to shower most of them. Downtown Los Angeles Intro to the truth 2-7

Hello all. Well we have a concrete park down the street from where I live where people can go and hang out. No real grass in it. Politicians act like "Well there is a place to go". People need more. It seems the City of Los Angeles does not care about people. They say here is a park go hang out there. How sad isn't it. Well it does not matter. So the next time you hear a politician say they care about Los Angeles. The only thing they care about is there career. www.LATravelYTb.com and www.frc.org and www.citizenlink.org and www.microsoft.com

Downtown Los Angeles intro to the truth 2-6

Hello all. I promised you today the perspective from the life of the homeless. A dude goes and checks some of his things into a trash bin (clean one of course) at a storage facility that the city of Los Angeles pays for. It is the size of a yard waste City of L.A. bin. This is his/her life. Their life is going to this bin daily to get some clean clothes out of them so they look presentable. This bin is free with a once a week check in rate. This bin is stored with 100's of others like them. One bin per person. At night they eat at the missions, they have to hear a sermon before they eat. They have to also listen to other people telling them what to do and when to do them. If you are a man you know how embarassing this can be for a guy. And you think you have it rough. Then they go sleep in a cold outside weather athmosphere while people with money drive by them. Some of them do not even speak english. Welcome to Downtown Los Angeles and welcome to the truth. That no one tells you about. All the papers show is the glitter and fame of Downtown Los Angeles. Downtown Los Angeles Intro to the truth 2-5

Hello all. Now I will give you a perspective on what the liquor store owners go through every day. First of all they everyone around them who hates them and as a result feels they have a right to steal from them. So the liquor store owner has to keep a lookout for thieves at all times. By the way liquor stores don't make as much money as people think they do. They don't get the discounts that other big grocery stores get like Ralphs and other supermarkets. I am not saying to feel sorry for the liquor store owners just put yourselves in their shoes. They work 12-14 hours a day ,to make maybe depending on the area, 400-500 dollars a day. (If they are lucky). On top of that worry about being robbed, how many liquor stores have you seen with a bulletproof glass around them. Also, how many hours do they sit there and do nothing. Alot. Downtown Los Angeles Intro to the truth 2-4

Hello all. Well from now on I am going to talk specifically about Downtown Los Angeles and it's behaviors and attitudes if you will. So let's start. Ever notice how Downtown Los Angeles is structured let me explain. You have people living in lofts, and condos, and yet on the other side of Downtown L.A. you literally have people sleeping on the sidewalk. A couple of days ago in the cold weather, I saw a dude with his bag as a pillow just sleeping. The irony here is this. No one else noticed him. People can walk by him and not care. So the next time you hear these politicians talk about how great Los Angeles is, think again. More to come. by. Hello all. Well I found out what happened the lady who was 'supposed' to drop off the check for me to cash. Well She decided to keep the money for herself. So needless to say that is life. Que sera sera. But anyway, this building situation is confusing, but I am not worrying about it anymore. I don't think SRO housing corporation is going to give us any money for moving. I think they are going to let us stay. They would have to shell out anywhere from 9000 to 17000 dollars for a re-location move. Don't know why? Oh well like I said that is life. Downtown Los Angeles Intro to the truth 1-29

Hello all. Kind of saddened today. Why? Well I was supposed to make 150 dollars today, and the lady flaked. It looks kind of shady anyway. You see she wants me to cash some checks for her, however, there are issues there. Why doesn't she cash them? Why is she asking me to cash them and paying me so much to do so? Things like that. So it looks like I am done with that. She keeps saying she will show up and she doesn't. My friends are telling me that it is kind of suspicious. I agree. So the days of cashing her checks are done. I think. 150 dollars is tempting, however, she keeps wish-washing the issue. I am skeptical because I have never met this woman ever. Yet she wants me to keep cashing these checks. Confusing I know? Downtown Los Angeles Intro to the truth 1-28

Hello all. Well no notices have been put in our boxes at all concerning the 'move'. Not worried about it but would like to see some action here soon. However, no matter. Longer we are in the building the more will get paid. Anyway, some good news, my friend might be getting a job at the Los Angeles mission. If he gets it, he can get General Relief and still receive his income and food stamps. That will keep him from muching from me then. It is getting on my last nerve on what he is doing. He is like a hungry puppy that follows you around. And this chick flaked on me giving me some work today. A little upset about. Here is the backward logic of the Department of public Social services in the County of Los Angeles. If you don't work for 2 weeks you are eligible for General Relief in Los Angeles County. However, if you work at all in that 2 week period , you are not eligible for General Relief at all. However, if you receive General Relief and make 600 dollars or less from a job you will still be eligible for General Relief. After 600 dollars they start to cut down your General Relief. To me that is backward logic. Well welcome to the Government. www.LATRavelYTB.com and www.frc.org and www.citizenlink.org and www.microsoft.com and www.americancongressfortruth.com

Hello all. No word on if Sro will pay people to move out this week. Not sure still. Man, this rain is bad out here. The weather people have forecasted rain until next week. Well you get what you pray for. People prayed for rain and it is coming down. However, there are little breaks in the rain here and there. In Downtown Los Angeles, it is real quiet right now. Not alot of crackheads out right now. I think people in our hotel want their money, I don't think SRO wants to pay it out. It is looking like they do not want too. Hello all. Check this out. I was watching 'eye on Los Angeles' here in Los angeles last night. No mention of the lofts that are not selling. All they kept talking about were these celebrities who give of their time to charity work. How stupid? However, they want the government to give out all of the money to this work. They ask others for money, but don't want to donate all of their money themselves. Question? Bill Clinton wrote a book called 'giving'. Why doesn't Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton give up all of their millions of dollars that they have in the bank if they really believe in 'Giving'. Because they want everyone else to give of their money and they don't want to get out of their 'comfort zone' just a thought. Downtown Los Angeles Intro to the truth 1-17

Hello all. Well still no word on when the SRO housing corporation will be paying us. Still believe in progress, the lofts in DowntowN LOs angeles are still not selling. Interesting isn't it. Maybe because of all of the high taxes associated with Los Angeles. I don't feel sorry for them at all. Now there is no word from the people about the Downtown Los Angeles lofts. I have a great ask the City of Los Angeles Mayor for the money. Oh the city of Los Angeles is in severe debt. I forget, maybe the reason these lofts are not selling is because of the heavy taxation and as a result more jobs leaving and going overseas, as well as as elsewhere. You see other cities offer 'financial perks' for going into their towns. Los Angeles offers no perks, except a name, and names wear off real quick. Anyway, I have got to admit, they are building alot of lofts in Downtown Los Angeles, especially on the other side of town. Isn't it amazing. Hello all. Well check this out. It rained and it poured in Downtown Los Angeles, the streets are looking a little cleaner these days. At this time, I say I feel really sad for the homeless of Downtown Los Angeles. You know, what blows me away though. How I can see a guy sleeping on the street and piss poor and he has a radio louder than mine. I see that all over downtown Skid row in Los Angeles. Seriously thank the Lord for your blessings. It is a really odd time for everyone in Downtown Los Angeles. It is kind of sad. The reality is though you need a place to dump the homeless and the people no one wants to see. It is like that in all kinds of cities across the country. Instead of caring for people we want to get rid of them. How sad.
