Happy Halloween. Tonight I will be at the calvary chapel Harvestfest in South bay, california. Still no word on if the building has been sold. I did hear some interesting news today, that if the building has been sold we don't have 6 months to relocate but 60 days. Oh well that is life. I have so many conflicting stories in this matter. Alot of cops still patrol the Downtown Los Angeles skid row area. Man there are alot of cops. I saw a woman today, she is homeless literally bathing herself in the street, (trust me I wasn't planning on seeing that). Anyway, she walks around the Downtown Los Angeles skid row area, sometimes barefoot. Do you know how filthy that ground is. She needs prayer. The streets in Downtown Los Angeles are filthy literally. I go outside downtown Los Angeles at night sometimes and they are all over the place. They are smart too. Hello all. Still no word on if the building has been sold yet. Anyway, check this out. In Downtown Los Angeles you can smell some of the smoke that is coming from the wildfires. It is bad. I have been sick all this week. If you live in Downtown Los Angeles, be careful out there it is hot. Anyway, have a blessed day. I guess the 'cleanup effort' is working in Downtown Los Angeles. Their newest strategy is too arrest prostitutes by just pulling up in a car. Their cars are nice too. They have nice american stylish cars. Anyway they arrested a prostitute yesterday. I don't even know why they do it, if they arrest a prostitute she will be right back out on the streets by Monday or so. Why don't the LOs Angeles Police Department arrest the drug dealers, we need laws like they have in Nevada. If you get arrested in Nevada. You are going to Jail and staying there. If you arrest someone and they are out on the street the following week, what good have you done. Now if you arrest someone and they are in Jail for 2 or 3 months, then you have done something. Hello all. Still no news on if the building has been sold. The wildfires are dying down now. Check this out, I was sick as a dog yesterday. I went to church for our missions fellowship dinner. And I was sick. When I got home, I had aches and pains like you would not believe. I felt like I was going to die. And at midnight a guy came knocking on my door to ask me something. Which in turn gave me a headache. So my health has not been great lately, but I can't complain. I once heard of a guy who was complaining about his feet hurting him, then someone said to him "there are people without shoes". Be thankful where you are at right now. Hello all. Well the homeless seem to be multpying along 7th street. Don't know why. The Los Angeles Police Department seems to be moving that way, too get them off of the side streets. The cleanup in Downtown Los angeles in Skid row is on looks like. They keep moving them around, so that they become weary, and eventually leave. That is the initial incentive. Looks to me like they are doing a good job so far. However, the problem still exists in one area. What about where I live? are they going to make it into SRO housing or leave it alone. The cops are cracking the whip, in the best way they know how. Shipping the homeless out of the area. If you have alot of stuff and homeless the cops will get rid of it for you. On them of course. Hello all. Still no word on if the building has been sold. The police in Downtown Los Angeles are doing stakeouts all over the place in my neighborhood. Yesterday, they were on Gladys avenue, next week they will probaly be on Ceres avenue in downtown Los angeles. They are starting to pop the drug dealers, and everyone else. The crackdown is on. Well Villagroisa is doing something no other mayor in Los Angeles is doing trying to crack down on crime. He of course is doing it for political gain, he will be running for Governor of California in 2010. People say 'no' he won't win. You might be surprised. He is liked by alot of people in California. I don't like him. You see Villagroisa can say 'look I cleaned up skid row' I did this. I got back Los Angeles Unified School District, I did this and that. Incredible resume. My question is 'where is the affordable housing?' I don't see any of that. If I could find a candidate for fair housing I would be a happy man. Hello all. Wanna talk about 'faith in action' the pastor in the church downstairs took in a guy named 'lamen'. He was approached by the Muslims which are even in our area, and asked to join them. His wife joined them, however, he refused. A dude came into our church yesterday asking for prayer, and he was a devout Muslim. Cool. He got the gospel explained to him. The coolest part is that in my Downtown Los Angeles neighborhood, I saw 'faith in action'. A pastor took in a guy who would be homeless and probaly on drugs on the streets of 'skid row' in Downtown Los Angeles. How awesome is that. That is what 'christianity' and living out your faith really means. He stays in the Downtown Los angeles Ford Hotel now with one of the associate pastors. God is Good. Keep the faith. Hello all. Check this out while I was at the Calvary Chapel men's conference on Saturday. There was an incident in my building in Downtown Los ANgeles. A dude who has been accused of murder and rape who stayed in our building. Anyway the Los Angeles Police department and the Los Angeles Swat surrounded the Ford Hotel where I stay in Downtown LOs ANgeles, and took everyone off of the 5th and 6th floor. This dude was in room 616 on the 6th floor. He was a real nut job. He had hand grenades, alot of guns in his room. He was a little mini army. He surrendered peacefully. Thank GOd. He will probaly get life in prison, but here is the real thing to this. How did he get into the building? He was a tenant, but they did not run a security check on this bozo. Hello all. What kinds of friends do you have? I have a few good ones. People at my church who help me out with rides all to the bus stop after church. A pastor who teaches the uncomprising Word of GOd. You know I can scream about where I live or I can do something about it. And change my situation. Hello all. I am thankful right now for one simple thing a roof over my head. Let me explain I met a guy at my church, and he was telling me at one time, he was living in his car. God is good. Anyway, he was telling how he invested in certain things like the fast life, and all that. Can we love God in the good times and the bad. I don't know. Also, a cool thing happened downstairs in our building. There is a church there called "one at a time baptist church", anyway this guy received Christ as his Lord and Saviour. You see the drug dealers have moved from another area, and have moved down our street. Hello all. You reap what you sow. There is a guy in my building who is really sick. He is 70 years old. He took drugs some of his life. It just goes to show you that if you smoke cigarettes, and do drugs. You will suffer the health consequences sometime in your life. Let me encourage, take care of your health now. Don't do drugs, don't smoke cigarettes, don't drink alcohol. (not even beer) Do you know what that does to your body. This guy is 70 and his back is messed up, he had a stab wound for being a drug dealer. Listen to me, if you are young stay away from the 'stupid' people. The people that will bring you down spiritually and emotionally. I live in Downtown Los Angeles and I see the consequences of a messed up life in alot of peoples lives down here. Take the lessons from a Downtown Los Angeles resident, don't do 'stupid things' like the residents here in the Ford Hotel in Downtown LOs angeles do. Hello all. Why do they even bother building the lofts here in Downtown Los Angeles, they want too much money for them. You see they want to make Downtown Los ANgeles a 'a hip place to go to go' well it still looks like a ghost town to me. Some of these lofts they want $500,000 for them. With interest at 6% that will amount to 1.4 million dollars. Do you have 1.4 million dollars to spare. If so give it here. Let ask you something would you really pay that for that Loft. I wouldn't. The good news is that home prices are dropping, wil these prices drop though? I don't think so.remember the dude who had the lofts has to pay back the loan he or she (equal oppurtunity) took out to pay for the construction of these lofts in DOwntown LOs angeles. Hello all. Well I have no neighbors now. My next door neighbor (the one that liked to scream at the walls) has moved. Anyway, they are now looking at the Ford Hotel to buy it. The Rosslyn Hotel wants 14 million dollars to purchase it. SRO said 'that is not going to happen' you see SRO wants to buy 10 hotels for 50 million dollars, however, they did not compute that the Rosslyn hotel would ask for so much. Now they want the Ford hotel in Downtown Los Angeles, however, the Ford is listed as 'substandard housing' and anyway, the DOwntown L.A. hotel is listed at 6.5 million dollars which I don't think the SRO wants to pay that. Now the owners of the Downtown Los Angeles Ford Hotel are asking for 6-7 million dollars. I don't know if SRO will pay that. Well I don't know what is going to happen.
