Well it has been 2 days after Christmas. And everyone in skid row still looks the same. Drunk and stupid. I don't see the tv cameras in Downtown Los angeles skid row area anymore. Let me give you guys the truth. You have to have a place to dump the poor and 'down and out'. In Burbank, or Glendale, those cities do not want the poor or homeless there. Or Beverly Hills. Do you know what the biggest hypocrisy is? In Santa Monica here in California, someone wanted to open up a mission for the homeless. The citizens of Santa Monice would not hear of it. They petitioned the city Council to trash the permit to approve it. The permit was denied. Yet on Christmas day, they say "Oh those poor people". Malarchy at its best. They don't want a homeless shelter in their area, yet they have the balls to say "Well let's give to the homeless in Downtown Los Angeles". Well now that is Christmas is over the Hell with the poor. There was a Los Angeles Catholic priest handing out money to the poor in increments of 1,2, 5, 100 dollars. Sounds like a good cause right. Well where do you think the dope man was yesterday. He was where? Right around the block saying "Here is some dope" what good did that do? None (if you count getting high and plastered) a good thing. You see the people here in Downtown Los Angeles doing the most good are the Christian groups. Places like the Los Angeles mission and the Union rescue Mission (both are located in Downtown Los Angeles). There are some churches down here responblily. Anyway, so remember the poor year round not just once a year, or out of a guilt trip. Hello all. Last night a dude was screaming at the top of his lungs, because he was drunk as a skunk. At about 12am. Also, new news, the fire marshal could arrive on Monday the 24th. Hello all. Well it rained and it poured here in Downtown Los Angeles. I told you all about the downtown L.A. lofts that are not selling. They are offering cars and cash and other incentives to sell them. Do you want to live in a 'glorified' studio. That is all a loft is. I came pulling up in my brother's car last night. Everyone thought I was a cop. It is a cop-like vehicle my brother drives. The groud was real dirty for the past few days. All you see is brown dirt going into the sewer in the Downtown Los Angeles area. My brother has not heard of the crackdown the Los Angeles Police Department has been doing in the area. He was driving and said to me "Man where are all of the tents and homeless". I told him of the clean-up going on down there in Downtown Los Angeles. Mini-coops they call them. You see I told you they would not sell. I hope none of them sell. When you mess with the poor look what you get. SCREWED!. I am so happy they are not selling. Hello all. Well check this out. The fire marshal shows up next week. My room last night, I knocked it out. It is almost clean. I just have some finishing touches on it to go through. Well I got blessed last night with some money. That helps. I will tell you something God is really stretching my faith this time of year. I cash this guys checks for him. He is 90 years old, and in a wheelchair. He can barely move. I seem to be the only honest person in the hotel. He trusts me. I will not screw him over, because of what the bible says about that. Hello all. Well check this out still no word on when the building will be taken over by SRO. You know if I did not know better my neighborhood is just as expensive as Beverly Hills. Why do I say that? Well when I go to the store, they all charge high prices for everything. The other day, I went to the neighborhood Los Angeles market, and they charged 2.50 dollars for a very tiny burrito. And rudeness, the people who work there are rude, and snotty. They look down on everyone when you go into their store. They also talk down to everyone in the store. The only place they don't talk down to you is the local post office. That is about it. There are some perks to this neighborhood. The homeless can shower and put their stuff into a clean garbage can in a Downtown Los Angeles-Skid row place run by the City of Los Angeles. So they can leave their clothes and stuff in these clean trash cans, and not walk around and look homeless. Then even look for work. That is a good thing. 100% free. Cool huh! Today was an interesting day in Downtown Los Angeles. You see anytime these movie companies are filming, they stop a few blocks. No problem. But at least put up signs to tell people which corner to go to catch the bus. This is the stuff they don't tell you about when it comes to Downtown L.A. news. I wish the media would air something on that. I hear they want to change Broadway into lofts. What else is new. These ones won't sell either. Most of the lofts in Downtown Los Angeles are not selling, why? Because of heavy taxation, and besides that who can afford a 400,ooo dollar loft in today's economy if you are making 40-50,000 dollars a year. Can you? I doubt it. Hello all. Alot to tell you about today. One dude who I helped pay his rent is actually starting help pay me back. That is awesome. Also, the Los Angeles Police department was out in force last night. They were all over the place. You see yesterday it rained real heavy in Downtown Los Angeles for most of the day. But check this out, today in Downtown Los Angeles it is clear. And the streets are filthy. They really are. I mean while it was raining you see the brown dirt literally just being swept down the streets of Skid row. Also, you could see how much trash, the people litter down there. The gutters are full of trash right now. The ground is still really dirty. You know it is one thing to live on the street, it is quite another, to see how the homeless treat the Downtown Los Angeles area. Anyway, fortunately the street sweepers of Los Angeles will clean up the area. Also, something else annoyed me this morning. I went to use the bathroom at the Ford hotel in Downtown Los Angeles and there was a big amount of 'you know what on the toilet seat'. Have people no shame. Handed out a few things like blankets, and sushi. It just doesn't look like Christmas in my neighborhood. People strung out on drugs, you know what we need in that neighborhood isn't money. Hello all. Now that all the hype is over let's forget about the poor in Downtown Los Angeles again. The missions are slowing down now. The Los Angeles Police Department is back to cracking the nuts of the homeless again. You know writing tickets for jaywalking, bothering them at 6 a.m. in the morning, as usual. However, when someone is getting robbed, you can't find a single police officer in sight. Well, our neighborhood in Downtown Los Angeles is slowly going back to normal as usual. Hello all. Have a safe and happy thanksgiving to all. In Downtown Los Angeles, they will have all thanksgiving dinner for all of the homeless. Here is what I call stupidity at its best. You say why? Here the Mayor of Los Angeles and some actors show up to say "let's do a good thing and feed the homeless", while the Mayor continues to put the homeless into a small shoe box of an area. It would be better for the Mayor to say "screw the homeless" then to be a hypocrite, and say "let's help them". Once I heard and actor say"well my plans got cancelled", because his plans got cancelled he decided to feed the homeless. That is stupid. He is basically saying "I had nothing better to do", so I will feed the homeless. Remember the Hypocrites at this time of year. We have these politicians who care more for their ego, than they do the people on Skid row in Downtown Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Police Department is getting ruder and ruder to the homeless. Some of them are straight up mean. I guess Mayor Antonio Villagroisa has a simple philosphy 'ignore and get rid of the homeless'. Hello all. Still no word on if the building has been sold. To my knowledge it hasn't. Anyway, check this out, over the weekend. I went to the california emergency relief something, otherwise called CERT. This will look good on a resume and it will teach me how to save lives, in an emergency situation. The program usually costs 1000's of dollars. We received the training for free. We (400 other church members) and I. How cool is that the Lord is good. They in CERT are teaching us how to handle emergency situations and how to handle fires, and other cool things like that. The purpose of CERT is in case of an emergency and no help is arriving for a few days. You the CERT trainee will be able to help out people in that situation. Hello all. No news on if the building has been sold yet. Anyway, they are now trying to clean up Broadway avenue in Downtown Los Angeles. How by trying to put in businesses that will make it look cool. The new Nokia Theater just opened next to the Staples center here in downtown Los Angeles. It looks pretty nice. I like the strategy. The Staples center primarily hosts sporting events, such as basketball, hockey, etc. This new Nokia theater is a new live entertainment place where people can see performers on stage, who to me don't cut the mustard. You see you need an area where people can go and relax, and catch a good show. However, in the process you need to kick out the poor, and those that don't have any money. That is our society now. Happy Halloween. Tonight I will be at the calvary chapel Harvestfest in South bay, california. Still no word on if the building has been sold. I did hear some interesting news today, that if the building has been sold we don't have 6 months to relocate but 60 days. Oh well that is life. I have so many conflicting stories in this matter. Hello all. Still no word on if the building has been sold. The police in Downtown Los Angeles are doing stakeouts all over the place in my neighborhood. Yesterday, they were on Gladys avenue, next week they will probaly be on Ceres avenue in downtown Los angeles. They are starting to pop the drug dealers, and everyone else. The crackdown is on. Well Villagroisa is doing something no other mayor in Los Angeles is doing trying to crack down on crime. He of course is doing it for political gain, he will be running for Governor of California in 2010. People say 'no' he won't win. You might be surprised. He is liked by alot of people in California. Hello all. Wanna talk about 'faith in action' the pastor in the church downstairs took in a guy named 'lamen'. He was approached by the Muslims which are even in our area, and asked to join them. His wife joined them, however, he refused. A dude came into our church yesterday asking for prayer, and he was a devout Muslim. Cool. He got the gospel explained to him. The coolest part is that in my Downtown Los Angeles neighborhood, I saw 'faith in action'. A pastor took in a guy who would be homeless and probaly on drugs on the streets of 'skid row' in Downtown Los Angeles. How awesome is that. Hello all. Check this out while I was at the Calvary Chapel men's conference on Saturday. There was an incident in my building in Downtown Los ANgeles. A dude who has been accused of murder and rape who stayed in our building. Anyway the Los Angeles Police department and the Los Angeles Swat surrounded the Ford Hotel where I stay in Downtown LOs ANgeles, and took everyone off of the 5th and 6th floor. This dude was in room 616 on the 6th floor. He was a real nut job. He had hand grenades, alot of guns in his room. He was a little mini army. He surrendered peacefully. Thank GOd. Hello all. I am thankful right now for one simple thing a roof over my head. Let me explain I met a guy at my church, and he was telling me at one time, he was living in his car. God is good. Hello all. You reap what you sow. There is a guy in my building who is really sick. He is 70 years old. He took drugs some of his life. It just goes to show you that if you smoke cigarettes, and do drugs. You will suffer the health consequences sometime in your life. Let me encourage, take care of your health now. Don't do drugs, don't smoke cigarettes, don't drink alcohol. (not even beer) Do you know what that does to your body. This guy is 70 and his back is messed up, he had a stab wound for being a drug dealer. Listen to me, if you are young stay away from the 'stupid' people. The people that will bring you down spiritually and emotionally. I live in Downtown Los Angeles and I see the consequences of a messed up life in alot of peoples lives down here. You see they want to make Downtown Los ANgeles a 'a hip place to go to go' well it still looks like a ghost town to me. Some of these lofts they want $500,000 for them. With interest at 6% that will amount to 1.4 million dollars. Do you have 1.4 million dollars to spare. If so give it here. Let ask you something would you really pay that for that Loft. I wouldn't. The good news is that home prices are dropping, wil these prices drop though? Hello all. Well I have no neighbors now. My next door neighbor (the one that liked to scream at the walls) has moved. Anyway, they are now looking at the Ford Hotel to buy it. The Rosslyn Hotel wants 14 million dollars to purchase it. SRO said 'that is not going to happen' you see SRO wants to buy 10 hotels for 50 million dollars, however, they did not compute that the Rosslyn hotel would ask for so much. Now they want the Ford hotel in Downtown Los Angeles, however, the Ford is listed as 'substandard housing' and anyway, the DOwntown L.A. hotel is listed at 6.5 million dollars which I don't think the SRO wants to pay that. Now the owners of the Downtown Los Angeles Ford Hotel are asking for 6-7 million dollars. I don't know if SRO will pay that. Well I don't know what is going to happen. If I worry that will not do me any good right. Hello all. Something interesting happened to me last night, a dude asked me for some change, but the way he approached me was so off. He runs to me with one hand behind his back. I said to him, "let me see your other hand" then he showed me that nothing was there. If you are going to ask for change do not ask with one hand behind your back. Anyway, I have become sloppy. I need to be more aware of my surroundings. Life has learning lessons with it, and one of them is 'always be aware of your surroundings'. Sometimes I think that I have a sign that says 'rob me please'. My friend Glen blessed me with the knowledge of how to fight. Thank God. In Downtown Los Angeles at night it is very dangerous. Drug dealers and transvestities walk up and down the street. Check this out there is a dude who is a smart pimp. He drives around in his car, and has a disabled placard on his car, so it never gets ticketed. He makes money off of other people's misery. In that part of Downtown Los ANgeles it is like that all the time. If I am not careful some guy might try that with me. I can not tell you how many times guys have tried to ask me some of the oddest questions. One time I was walking and this guy kept trying to hale me down, he did 3 or 4 times. Hello all. It is pretty quiet in my building. I am going to talk to you about the power of God. I have been so blessed by Jesus Christ (my Lord and Saviour). How you ask? Well check this out. When I moved into the Ford Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles a couple of years ago. I was mad and angry, and God blessed me. How? Well He taught me the knowledge that I would need to do my new tax business. I literally right now can save someone on their taxes 60-70% on their taxes. It keeps people in control after all, if you are on 50 dollars a month rent (the government subsidies the rest) you will behave anyway they want you to0. In my building they behave like animals. I am not a psychology major or anything like that, but why is it that people would go to the bathroom all over the toilet seat. Hello. Not much too report today. The dude who was hospitalized with the heavy legs and was legally "patient dumped" is still not back from the hospital. I do wonder how many people were legally 'patient dumped' by the Los Angeles county healthcare system. Well too many too say. A couple of days ago, I saw an interesting site. 6 LAPD officers were arresting one guy, and he was strung out on something. I wonder why it takes 6 LAPD officers to arrest one person. He was in handcuffs already, and they could not just put him in the car. Bureuacracy stinks. Another thing about where I live in Downtown Los Angeles is the fact some of the people don't have a pot to piss in, and they have some of the loudest stereos I have ever heard. The biggest thing to this neighborhood in DOwntown Los Angeles is the fact you walk into the liquor stores and they are so high in price on stuff. I went into a Los Angeles liquor store in my area, and I thought I was in BEverly hills man. They wanted 2 dollars for a stick of butter. One thing I notice about koreans they do not obey the rules. The sticks of butter are not for indivudial sale, but they sell them. They sell other things which are not supposed to be sold indivudially, but they do. Hello all. I saw an interesting thing today. There was a dude screaming at the cops, and I don't know what it was. But he was being arrested for (I don't know what) . Anyway I just want to reflect on what happens in our neighborhood. The hospitals like to "dump" the mentally ill patients down into our area. There is massive drug use and homosexuality that goes on down there. The homosexuals dress up like women and many of them believe they are women. Also you can't walk down the street anytime at night after 10pm, why, because you see drug dealers on every corner. Massive amounts of prostitution and other things like people pissing on the sidewalk for no apparnet reason. Folks, this is life in my area. Instead of ignoring the problem and turning a blind eye to it, put yourself into that situation for a moment. Well just another day in paradise. Alot of people in our building are going to be evicted here pretty soon for not paying their rent. What amazes me in my building in Downtown Los Angeles is one thing. Dependency. Let me explain. Everyone in our building is dependent so much on government assistance. You see the State of California sends out a renters rebate to people of low-income levels. It amazes how no one in the Los Angeles Ford Hotel has any goals. Hello all. Still no word on whether or not the building has been sold. That is always good news. Quiet day yesterday. One thing I can tell you about that building it is substandard. The electrical is old, the water heater (which costs 40000 dollars to replace) is going out, the heater in the rooms right now need repair. The only solution is to gut it and make something beautifiul out of it. I am thankful though it is better than being homeless and being a drug addict on the streets. This guy in my building was basically "patient dumped". You see he can not lift his legs, and they are heavy. He is not chunky, he is a relatively skinny guy with legs that are full. He cannot lift his legs and here is the real tragedy, he was released from the hospital like this. They basically told him 'go home' why because there is nothing they can do for him. Right on instead of treating him at a hospital they release him. This guy cannot get out of his wheelchair, and he cannot move his legs, and they dumped him back out into the street. I am sick and tired of people in my building asking me for money. Some dude asked me for some money last night, knocking on my door. Another thing happened there is this guy in my building who is in a wheelchair and he is a stubborn as a mule. He asks for help and then screams when you don't do it the way he asks to do the thing he asked. Last night I needed 3 hands at the same time to do the task he asked me to do. He is so stubborn he will not ask the city of Los Angeles health care to send over a helper to help him, and trust me he does qualify. If you need help ask for it. But he needs help and he won't ask. He can not move his legs which is sad, but his legs have puss and other fluids coming out of him. This first of all is a waste of taxpaying money, because the L.A. homeless don't have the resources to pay for the ticket. Hello. Well I wasn't home too much this weekend, but the neighborhood I live in seemed to be quiet for once. People are behaving a little bit more, because LAPD is cruising around more. Hello all. I just read in the paper that in downtown L.A. they have passed a measure that would expand the construction of new lofts and more expensive housing. The Los angleles city council claims that they have made provisions for the economically disadvantaged (the poor). Do you believe that? I don't. Let me explain. They did not pass any measures that would force the developers to build more housing for the poor. So let me see. If there are no provisions forcing the developers to build more housing for the poor ,do you think the developers will do it? I don't think so. Villagroisa is a devil in disguise here is saying he is an advocate for the poor, but instead he is trying kick all of the poor into a small little area of downtown L.A., and then kick everyone out of that area. That was the whole intent by the way. This was in the L.A. times article about on august 8, 2007. You are welcome to look it up. They are trying to bring in new money, and kick everyone else out. They are trying to turn downtown Los angeles into New York and Manhatten etc.. So what happens next well they will eventually triumph, because no one cares for the down and out.
